Signs Of Suicide
The goal of the SOS Program is to learn about depression, suicide, and increase confidence to seek help for those who need it.
Signs of Suicide is a program that is delivered to our 6th grade students at Boston.
SOS helps students recognize the symptoms of depression or warning signs of suicide in themselves or their friends
It teaches students the appropriate action steps they should take to get help.
It is NOT to tell whether students are depressed, rather it IS to inform students about whether they (or their friends) may have symptoms that need further evaluation.
